2008 Samsung Mobile Solution Forum
The 4th Samsung Mobile Solution Forum was held at the Westin Hotel Taipei on March 27th, 2008. A total of more than one hundred and forty companies, and around one thousand guests attended the forum.At the exhibit, Samsung introduced a wide-range of products that were equipped with Mobile Technology, such as OneNAND, OneDRAM, MCP, LSI, Mobile DDI and Mobile TV chip set. Viewers were able to see actual products on display, or participate in related discussion forums.
Among the various topics, we selected - Memory Solutions of Mobile Platforms by the VP of Memory Division, Mr. Sei-Jin, Kim - in writing this report.
The Mobile RAM solution can be divided into two types - MDRAM and UtRAM, while the Mobile ROM solution can be categorized into - NOR, NAND, and PRAM. A big highlight at the Samsung forum was the "Fusion Memory" or OneDRAM and OneNAND.
